Spiritual Warfare Part III

Drawing from the story of a desperate widow in 2 Kings 4, we are invited to see how God meets us in our most dire circumstances, not with a grand revealed plan, but with a single, sometimes baffling instruction: pour out what little you have. The widow's obedience in the face of fear, grief, and crushing debt becomes a picture of how God's kingdom operates by entirely different rules than our own. Amounts do not matter to him. Willingness does. Surrender does. Every jar she filled was an act of overcoming fear, and the oil kept flowing as long as there were vessels to receive it. The story reveals a truth about God' design, we are most primed to see God move when we feel we have the least to offer.
