It’s not hard to miss understand the mission of Christ if you don’t understand the message. Too often the focus of Christianity is upon sin and moralism; as if the end goal of Christ was to create well behaved people. And while character is certainly important, a focus on sin is actually built upon a wrong foundation. The message of the gospel isn't centered around performance but rather what your life is filled with.
