What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

God

We believe that God is a loving Father and there is absolutely nothing that you can do that will separate you from His love. It doesn’t matter who you are or what you’ve done, God’s love for you never fails. This love was demonstrated at the cross when Jesus died to establish a new covenant of forgiveness. And when the reality of God’s love becomes understood it transforms our lives.
Romans 8:38-39    1 John 4:16    John 3:16

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ in the Son of God. He was born of a virgin and came with the mission of making the Father known. If we truly want to get to know the Father, we always need to look at the Son because Jesus is the exact imprint of God’s nature. He died on the cross setting humanity free from the power of sin and rose to life on the third day. All who believe in Him receives the gift of life that He offers to everyone.
John 1:16-18   John 14:9   2 Corinthians 3:15-16    Colossians 1:15    Hebrews 1:3

Holy Spirit

We believe that God breaths His Spirit upon every human soul at conception, thereby dignifying them as being made in the image of God. We believe that God’s Spirit is regenerated or re-born through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that God anoints people with the power of the Holy Spirit to participate in healings, signs and wonder.
Gen 2:17    John 3:7-8    Mark 16:17-18    1 Cor. 14:1

You

We believe that the most important thing about your life is the way you see and understand God. Your view of God will shape your values and the way you live and interact in this world. Your view of God is the lens through which you will interpret this life. This begs the question, “Who is God?” It is the truth of who God is that sets people free which is why your view of God matters!
Matthew 16:15

The Church

We believe that the church, isn’t a building, temple or structure, but the people of God on a mission. Christianity was once called, "The WAY." People of "The Way" believed that they possessed and were meant to lead the way forward for the world. But what is the way forward for the world? Jesus gave us one command, “love one another, as I have loved you” (John 15:12). Church is the movement Jesus started to lead the world forward in love.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Salvation means to be delivered from bondage and made whole. We believe that God is at work in everyone’s life helping them to come into this Freedom.

Eternal Life

In John 17:3 Jesus prays, “And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.” In Christianity today, we have made the essence of our faith about going somewhere (heaven), but Jesus made this faith all about relationship with someone (God). So much of today’s culture makes Christianity all about a destination and not about the journey. Eternal life is really about getting to know and relate to a wonderful God of love.
